Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Webster Mechanical Engineering provides on-site and laboratory examination and testing of HVAC systems and fuel gas fired appliances involved in carbon monoxide poisoning matters. The examinations include documentation and thorough inspections of the gas fired equipment, the fuel supply system, the combustion gas exhaust flue, the supply and return air ductwork, exhaust and ventilation fans, and the construction of the structure to determine the source of the carbon monoxide and the conditions leading to the poisoning incident.

On-site testing includes the operational testing of the gas fired equipment and monitoring of carbon monoxide concentrations within the structure. Laboratory examination and testing is conducted on the fuel gas fired equipment to determine the conditions which lead to the generation of carbon monoxide.
